Everybody knows that German people love drinking beer. Beer is like part of their culture. If you are visiting your friends, eating out in restaurant, going to a bar, you cannot escape from beer. This is the drink that every local has at home. This shouldn’t be something surprising. If you have been to Germany already, you know how good it tastes.
Moving to a country before knowing the language can be really frustrating. When I first came to Germany, I barely spoke a German word. It took me almost 3 years until I was able to have some basic conversation in German!
I am originally from Hong Kong. I moved to Germany for my master studies 9 years ago and stay there until now. I was sent as an expat to US for one year. So I know very well how it is like working in US vs Germany. And I can be very objective since I am not from either of these countries!
